Direct Recording

Two different programs on the same transponder can be recorded simultaneously. A third channel on the same transponder can be viewed at the same time. Channels available are highlighted in the channel list.

Direct recording is started with the RED recording key in the PVR keypad of your RCU.

You will be asked whether you want to adopt the recording time from your EPG. After confirmation with yes/no, recording will start. You may now view another channel on the same transponder and/or start a second recording on the same frequency with the RED recording key. When switching to another channel the recording status will be blended in briefly. If EPG time was accepted, direct recording will stop at the end of the recorded program, otherwise your settings in menu PVR Setting limit the maximum recording time. 

You may also stop your recording manually with the STOP key. You will now be asked which recording you want to interrupt. Make your choice and confirm with OK.
